Charmin Team Keeps Rolling

Toilet paper has been on shoppers’ minds and in their carts as they prepare to spend more time at home in the coming weeks.

To meet the spike in demand, our Family Care Team has been hard at work, and our responsive workforce is taking incredible ownership of the business. Our team in the Albany, Georgia plant, with significant support from teammates from the Cape Girardeau and Mehoopany plants, operationalized idle equipment in just two weeks – a process that typically takes months.

In all P&G sites, we are following rigorous safety protocols from the WHO and CDC to keep employees safe and healthy as we get Charmin to store shelves as fast as possible.

“It’s a great example of us coming together,” a plant leader said. “Everyone has been so positive and helpful in flowing to work. It’s proof of our ‘flex site’ capability and how we can really make a difference in the business as a site.”

This is enabling us to keep rolling so we can get Charmin to store shelves faster.
