As You Care for Others, We're Here for You: P&G and Care Out Loud Support Caregivers

An elderly Asian man wearing glasses smiles and writes with a pen, while a little girl playfully leans on his back and touches his cheek. An elderly woman in the background smiles warmly.

For generations, P&G and our brands have been helping people care for those who matter most — from the first diaper change to the daily routines that keep families healthy and homes running smoothly. However, we know that for millions of Americans, "care" also has a broader meaning: caregiving.

Right now, one in four Americans is a dedicated caregiver, navigating the complex journey of supporting an aging parent, a sick spouse, a child with a disability or another loved one in need. These unsung heroes balance medical appointments, manage finances and offer unwavering emotional support, often while juggling full-time jobs and other family responsibilities. It's a role filled with immense love, but it can also bring challenges that lead to isolation and overwhelm.

That's why P&G is proud to partner with Care Out Loud, a national campaign launched by the One Family Foundation, a nonprofit established by actor, director, producer, and writer Bradley Cooper in honor of his late father. We're joining forces to make caregiving more visible, less isolating, and easier to navigate for everyone.

CVS and P&G Collaborate to Support Caregivers

Making Caregiving Seen, Valued, and Supported

Born from the everyday caregiving experiences that are often unseen and unspoken, Care Out Loud aims to be the supportive friend who's "been through it" — offering real, relatable advice and connecting caregivers to free, essential resources.

The campaign is built around four key goals:

  • Make caregiving easier: Provide access to trusted tools and products that reduce stress and confusion.
  • Spark recognition: Elevate real caregiver stories to foster open dialogue, celebration, and support.
  • Normalize hard conversations: Help families navigate difficult topics proactively.
  • Support working caregivers: Engage companies to create more compassionate workplaces.

Demonstrating Our Brands’ Deep-Rooted Commitment to Caregivers

Our partnership with Care Out Loud is a natural extension of our long-standing commitment to serving consumers for generations. For more than 188 years, P&G brands have been in homes across the country, helping people care for loved ones with our everyday home, health, and hygiene essentials.

From the reliable care of Always Discreet for bladder leaks and the powerful clean of Tide, to the trusted germ protection of Safeguard soap, many of our products are designed to make daily caregiving tasks easier, so caregivers can focus on what matters most: the people they care for. These products help provide dignity, comfort and peace of mind. This is why our brands are proud to partner with Care Out Loud to offer practical solutions that lighten the daily load for caregivers everywhere.

Caring for Our Employee Caregivers

Our commitment to caregivers extends to our own employees. Many P&G employees are navigating the caregiving journey themselves, and we’re dedicated to fostering a workplace that supports them. Through flexible policies, resources for emotional wellbeing and robust employee networks that build community among those with shared experiences, we aim to make caregiving more manageable. We know that when our employees feel supported, they can bring their best selves to both work and home.

Amy Delgado, a P&G Senior Manager of Analytics and Insights, shares her personal experience: "When my daughter was born with spina bifida, it became very clear there aren't a lot of resources for families of children with disabilities. I've been lucky to have managers at P&G who have supported flexibility in my work. [Plus] that connection to other people going through similar things, and the ability to share knowledge is really important, and it's great that the company supports that."

To support our employee caregivers, P&G provides a comprehensive set of tools, detailed in "The Caregiver's Guidebook: P&G Resources to Support Your Needs." This resource outlines a suite of more than a dozen programs and tools, including Cariloop, which connects employees with dedicated Care Coaches who provide expert guidance for any caregiving situation, from pediatrics to elder care. Our Child/Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) helps ease financial burdens, while the Maven platform offers 24/7 digital health support for everything from fertility to pediatric care, including breast milk delivery for traveling parents.

For employee wellbeing, our WorkLife Solutions Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers confidential, no-cost assistance for a wide range of personal and workplace challenges, including legal and financial consultations. And Wellbeing at P&G provides tools to help employees care for their mental, physical, financial and work-life wellbeing.

The Caregiver’s Guidebook is just one of the many resources that demonstrates our support for caregivers, both within our company and in the broader community.
