At P&G, serving our consumers goes beyond creating and delivering superior products. For generations, we’ve supported the communities where we live and work during times of need — providing everyday cleaning, health and hygiene essentials to those affected by disasters. It’s a commitment that spans more than a century, rooted in our belief that even the smallest act can help make a difficult time a little better. This impact is made possible by the tireless efforts of our long-standing disaster relief partners.

12 Months of Impact*

Over the past 12 months, our disaster relief efforts have taken us across the globe, from Hurricane Helene in the Southeastern United States, to Super Typhoon Carina in the Philippines. Each disaster brought its own unique challenges, but thanks to our partners, we have been able to show up for communities and help restore a sense of comfort and normalcy when it’s needed most. This work means:

  • Supporting communities across the globe, including areas in Brazil, India, Mexico, Peru and Vietnam, and states across the U.S., including Florida, Hawaii and Kentucky.
  • Distributing millions of products from trusted P&G brands, including Ariel, Always, Bounty, Charmin, Crest, Dawn, Fairy, Febreze, Gillette, Olay, Secret, Tampax, Venus and Zevo — delivering the comforts of home to people affected by these devastating events.
  • Providing essential services on the ground, including over 3,500 loads of laundry and hot showers in the U.S., to those in need.
  • Traveling 18,000 miles across the U.S. in our P&G Disaster Relief fleet.

Stories From Around the World

Here’s a look at a few communities our partners have helped us provide relief for this year.

Mobilizing a Rapid Response to Super Typhoon Carina

When Super Typhoon Carina caused widespread devastation to the Philippines in July 2024, P&G and its partners mobilized swiftly to provide relief. The typhoon significantly impacted areas including Metro Manila, Southern Luzon and Bicol, displacing thousands of families and leaving them without access to basic necessities, including clean clothes.

In response, Ariel deployed its Cycles of Care initiative within 36 hours. This program provided free laundry services using Ariel Liquid Detergent at one hundred Save5 Laundromat branches across 17 cities in the Greater Manila Area. This rapid response helped restore a crucial sense of normalcy to affected families. Beyond the laundry services, P&G also distributed thousands of sachets of Ariel Liquid Detergent.

The impact was significant: the Ariel Cycles of Care program successfully served over 13,000 families and washed more than 216,000 kilograms of stained, soiled and muddied clothes.

Helping After Major Hurricanes

In October 2024, Hurricane Helene, the strongest hurricane on record to strike Florida's Big Bend, caused widespread devastation across the southeastern United States, impacting communities in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas. At the peak of the disaster, more than four million households were without power.

P&G partnered with Matthew 25: Ministries to deliver products and services to affected communities, including hard-to-reach places in North Carolina. Matthew 25: was on the ground in impacted areas of Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee for over three weeks — completing over 2,000 loads of laundry through Tide Loads of Hope and providing more than 200 hot showers. They also distributed personal care kits featuring P&G brands such as Always, Ivory, Old Spice, Oral-B, Pantene and Pampers.

Providing Flood Relief in the South and Midwest U.S.

When torrential rains caused widespread flooding across the Southern and Midwest United States in April 2025, P&G and our partner Matthew 25: Ministries sprang into action to support impacted communities in Ohio and Kentucky. Matthew 25 deployed Tide Loads of Hope and mobile shower units, providing clean laundry and hygiene services to families in need, while also distributing P&G products to offer a sense of comfort during a challenging time.

Over just a few days, Matthew 25: Ministries completed hundreds of loads of laundry and distributed thousands of items, including personal care kits, first aid supplies and cleaning products from P&G brands like Bounty, Always and Dawn. From Frankfort, Kentucky, to New Richmond, Ohio, together, we helped bring some relief and support to those affected by the floods.

Made Possible by Our Partners

It takes a community to help a community. Through our long-standing partnerships with disaster relief organizations around the world, like Americares, CARE, Direct Relief, GlobalMedic, International Medical Corps and World Vision, we’re able to reach more communities with the essential resources they need to begin recovery.

Our 15+ year partnership with Matthew 25: Ministries has been central to our disaster relief work in the U.S. They’ve operated the Tide Loads of Hope mobile laundry program, providing free laundry and shower services to more communities in crisis. Together, we’ve distributed tens of thousands of P&G product kits across more than 30 states.

Matthew 25: Ministries was recently recognized as a TIME101 honoree for their dedication and commitment to serving those in need. Watch this video to learn more!
