Advancing equality and inclusion through a long-term partnership providing sustained support for LGBTQ+ organizations around the world

For more than 30 years, P&G has supported the LGBTQ+ community by creating superior experiences for our consumers and employees, while working to make a positive impact in our communities. We do this, in part, through the long-term partnerships we forge with organizations around the world that are advancing equal access and opportunity for all.

This commitment is reflected in P&G’s partnership with Grammy-award winning artist Brandi Carlile’s Looking Out Foundation, a nonprofit organization which has supported humanitarian causes for over two decades – amplifying the impact of music by awarding grants, engaging community, and creating powerful partnerships.

Together, P&G and the Looking Out Foundation assist LGBTQ+ organizations, including CenterLink, GLAAD, Outright International, SAGE, and The Trevor Project, delivering essential, life-affirming services. This allows us to address different but interconnected needs across the LGBTQ+ community, such as advancing equality around the world through research and community driven-action, assisting and advocating for older LGBTQ+ adults, and providing crisis intervention and suicide-prevention services for young people. By providing sustained support, this partnership allows LGBTQ+ organizations to plan, scale, and respond to evolving needs, helping drive long-term impact.

This partnership unites our long-term commitment to advancing equality and inclusion for LGBTQ+ communities by expanding access and opportunity for people where they live and work, while also investing directly in organizations driving action on the ground. It also builds upon our existing relationship with Brandi Carlile, who has previously worked with and supported Can’t Cancel Pride, the P&G and iHeartMedia initiative launched in 2020 to raise visibility for the LGBTQ+ community and funding for LGBTQ+ nonprofits.

“Working with Brandi and the Looking Out Foundation reinforces the power of partnership rooted in shared values,” said Brent Miller, Senior Director of Global LGBTQ Engagement at P&G. “Together, we’re uplifting organizations that are meeting the critical needs of LGBTQ+ communities. This collaboration is about more than just visibility – it’s about creating lasting impact for the LGBTQ+ community while helping build a more equal and inclusive world for everyone.”

Our collaboration recently came to life during Brandi’s Girls Just Wanna Weekend, an annual, music-based gathering rooted in community created as a space where women and LGBTQ+ people can show up authentically as themselves. The weekend highlighted the importance of community, impact, and people looking out for one another, demonstrating how connection, care, and resilience can create joy and possibility. While the event served as a moment of connection, the work it represents extends far beyond a single weekend or location.

“This partnership is representative of how the LGBTQ+ community has always been able to make greater change by coming together,” said Gloria Goeres, Executive Director of the Looking Out Foundation. “Together, we are investing directly into organizations doing critical work within their communities to defend the joys and rights of LGBTQ+ people.”

By joining forces with the Looking Out Foundation, we can better support LGBTQ+ people around the world through sustained, long-term efforts. P&G will continue to help create lasting and meaningful impact for the LGBTQ+ community – because we believe progress happens through collaboration, care, and a long-term commitment to the communities we serve.
