P&G's Education Partnerships Support Communities and Shape Tomorrow's Leaders
Imagine the incredible breakthroughs and innovations we could unlock if every student had the opportunity to reach their full potential.
As an innovation-driven company, P&G’s ability to create superior products and experiences that improve everyday life for consumers around the world depends on attracting and developing employees from the broadest possible pool of top talent. This includes fostering the potential of future leaders through strategic education partnerships. This in turn helps strengthen our talent pipeline, drive market relevance, and grow the reach of our brands, including among rapidly growing multicultural consumer groups.
Together with our partners, we’re supporting quality learning for students across communities — strengthening educational pathways, creating opportunities for young people to thrive, and enabling them to contribute their unique talents to shaping the future of innovation.
How are P&G’s Partnerships Building a Stronger Foundation for Youth?
Our longstanding partnership with America's Promise Alliance exemplifies P&G’s commitment to building strong educational foundations and improving outcomes for young people, particularly those from underserved communities. Through this collaboration, we support initiatives that build the capacity of nonprofit organizations and leaders working across the education continuum, from K–12 learning to postsecondary education and career pathways.
America’s Promise Alliance improves outcomes at scale for young people by increasing coordination, collaboration, and collective action among the country’s leading nonprofits. Through our programming and collective action, we support the CEOs and executive teams of more than 170 organizations that collectively serve 34 million young people each year. P&G’s support helps improve graduation rates, boost college enrollment, and enhance career readiness, paving the way for brighter futures for the next generation.

America’s Promise Alliance (APA) brought together nearly forty leaders for a convening on key issue areas of APA’s organizational improvement and capacity building support.
How Does P&G Support Students to and through College?
Our commitment to education extends through every stage of a student's journey. A prime example of this dedication is P&G's longstanding partnership with UNCF, which supports students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). This collaboration is rooted in a rich legacy; in fact, P&G co-founder James N. Gamble was among the first to partner with visionary educator Mary McLeod Bethune when she opened the Daytona Educational and Industrial Training School in 1904 — an institution that would later become Bethune-Cookman University. Mary McLeod Bethune went on to co-found UNCF in 1944, and P&G was among the first companies to offer support, recognizing the shared value of education for both people and business.

Today, P&G continues this important partnership with UNCF through programs like HBCYOU, which offers scholarships and development opportunities that help students not only access higher education, but succeed through graduation and beyond. This collaboration also plays a crucial role in attracting top talent to P&G, fostering a pipeline of future leaders with unique perspectives and experiences that help meet consumer needs.
P&G brands including Swiffer, Bounty, Charmin, Febreze, Cascade, Tide, Gain, Crest, Secret, Gillette, Bevel, and Head & Shoulders support students on campus and beyond with the products and services they need to live their best college lives, understanding that enabling student success today helps strengthen our communities and business for the future.

How is P&G Preparing the Next Generation for Impactful Careers?
Beyond graduation, P&G is focused on preparing the next generation for impactful careers. Our partnership with INROADS supports early career development for high-potential students by providing mentorship, skill-building workshops, and career-planning tools that equip students with the confidence and capabilities to succeed in the professional world.
In recognition of this shared commitment, P&G was named INROADS’ 2025 Corporation of the Year. As Kristine Decker, P&G Chief Equality & Inclusion Officer and an INROADS alumna, shared:
"As a company that relies on leaders and innovators to create products for consumers from all walks of life, our partnership with INROADS is vital. Together, we’re not only making dreams a reality, but also supporting the development of the leaders we need to grow our brands and our business.”
