A World of Abilities: P&G's Journey Toward Disability Confidence

At P&G, belonging is our business. Our greatest strength comes from the unique perspectives and abilities of every individual. We're focused on serving all consumers with superior products they love and trust, and that means making sure our products, communications and workplaces are accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities. On International Day of People with Disabilities, we're highlighting how we're advancing disability inclusion with our employees, through our brands and with our partners in the communities where we live and work.

Enabling Employees: Creating a #DisabilityConfident Culture

Building a culture of Disability Confidence means fostering a workplace where every employee can belong, contribute and unlock their full potential. When people can bring their authentic selves and unique experiences to work, it drives the innovation that enables us to create superior products that better serve all consumers, including those with a disability.

A key part of this work is ensuring our offices, plants and facilities are accessible for all employees. We apply the principles of Universal Design to create environments that are intuitive and usable for all. And in 2024, we launched our first IT Accessibility Hub at our Geneva Business Center. This innovative space provides employees with a wide range of adaptive technologies — from Braille keyboards to Microsoft Adaptive Accessories — offering tailored solutions that support diverse needs and ensure everyone can perform at their best.

We also have more than 10 People with Disabilities Employee Affinity Networks, which create spaces for connection, advocacy and shared experiences. These groups foster an environment where employees can access community and support to help them thrive both personally and professionally.

Designing for All: Inclusive Brands and Accessible Communications

Inclusivity and accessibility are also core principles guiding our product design. We want every consumer to have access to superior products that meet their individual needs, which is why we embed accessibility into every stage of the design process, from initial concept to final product. Oral-B’s adaptive electric toothbrush handle is one example: designed to improve grip, control and maneuverability, it helps make brushing easier and more effective for a broader range of consumers.

This focus extends to our packaging, where we've introduced inclusive features such as tactile markings on brands like Herbal Essences, Ariel, and Olay to help consumers identify and differentiate products more easily. These raised symbols support blind and low-vision consumers while also making everyday tasks simpler and more intuitive for everyone.

Accessibility also guides how we communicate with consumers. By adding audio descriptions to our ads across multiple regions, we are helping millions of blind and low-vision individuals engage with our stories, as well as championing authentic representation in campaigns for brands like Pantene and Oral-B.

And through partnerships with organizations like Harder Than You Think, we're elevating powerful, inclusive and resonant storytelling, from the Rising Phoenix: A New Revolution documentary to the Equal Too podcast series.

Partnering for Progress: Inclusive Communities

Our commitment to disability inclusion extends beyond our company walls. We recognize the importance of collaborating with partners and supporting organizations that share our vision of a more inclusive world.

Our participation in The Valuable 500, a global organization putting disability on the agenda of businesses worldwide, reinforces our dedication to building inclusive communities where we live and work. We’re excited to join this year’s SYNC25 conference, supporting accountability and collaborative action across industries.

We’re also honored to again be recognized by Disability:IN, a leading global resource for business disability inclusion, as a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion” in 2025. P&G earned a top score on the organization’s Disability Index, a benchmarking tool that measures disability inclusion across the workplace. This recognition reflects our continued efforts to implement innovative disability inclusion practices.

When we work together and harness the experiences and know-how of partners like these, we can create sustained impact and build communities where everyone can contribute and thrive.

This International Day of People with Disabilities — and every day — join us in celebrating the world of abilities and the many contributions people with disabilities make to our workplaces, our communities and our world.
