P&G Joins TIME101 to Recognize Feeding America's Impact Serving Communities

For generations, P&G has supported the communities where we live and work, partnering with meaningful organizations that extend our impact. This year, we joined TIME Magazine in recognizing Feeding America® as this year’s TIME101 recipient. Each year, alongside the renowned TIME100 list of the world’s most influential people, TIME101 honors an organization or individual making a meaningful impact in their communities.

As the nation's largest hunger-relief organization, Feeding America provides vital access to food assistance and everyday essentials including products from trusted P&G brands like Always period care products, Crest toothpaste, Bounty paper towels, and Pampers diapers, helping millions of people across the U.S. find comfort when it matters most.

Nourishing Communities Across the Country

According to Feeding America, 48 million people in the U.S. experience food insecurity and the health, economic, and social challenges that can come with it. Rooted in the voices of neighbors facing hunger, Feeding America unites communities through a nationwide network of 250+ food banks, 20+ statewide food bank associations, 10+ regional co-ops and 60,000+ agency partners, to ensure everyone has access to food and a thriving future.

One example of this local impact can be found at the St. Louis Area Foodbank, a proud member of the Feeding America network. Through its no-cost Food On The Move program, the organization brings a mobile grocery shopping experience directly to neighbors experiencing food insecurity, delivering food and household essentials where they’re needed most. Designed to help people access food in a way that feels respectful and empowering, the program has delivered more than 1.6 million meals* over the last five years alone. Food On The Move is one example of how local action, supported by a national network, can transform lives and strengthen communities.

Cascade recently celebrated its 70th anniversary by partnering with Feeding America to provide one million meals** to people experiencing food insecurity. Through the program, every coupon downloaded for Cascade Platinum Plus helped provide 10 donated meals, giving consumers an opportunity to support individuals and families facing hunger while saving on trusted products.

“We’re proud that Cascade has earned that trust for 70 years, and it’s what inspires us to care for families in ever bigger ways, including helping provide meals to people facing hunger through our partnership with Feeding America,” shared Angelica Matthews, Brand Vice President, North America Dish Care at Cascade.

P&G’s longstanding collaboration with Feeding America helps support the critical food assistance and other essential personal care and home products delivered through its network, reflecting a shared commitment to helping communities access the resources they need. As Elizabeth Pettengill, interim vice president, corporate and foundation partnerships at Feeding America shared, “every action of generosity can help build a future where everyone has food on the table — and hope to spread around.”
