As part of our efforts, we are proud to partner with Brandi Carlile’s Looking Out Foundation, a nonprofit organization which has supported humanitarian causes for over two decades – amplifying the impact of music by awarding grants, engaging community and creating powerful partnerships. Our work together provides sustained support for LGBTQ+ organizations delivering essential, life-affirming services for the LGBTQ+ community.

Our beneficiary nonprofit partners – CenterLink, GLAAD, Outright International, SAGE and The Trevor Project – represent organizations addressing various critical needs across the LGBTQ+ community, such as supporting and advocating for LGBTQ+ elder care, increasing access to preventative health services and treatment, and providing mental health support for young people.

These partnerships reflect our view that more progress happens through collaboration, care and a long-term commitment to the communities we serve. Together, though our efforts, we’re expanding access, elevating voices and improving the lives of LGBTQ+ people around the world.

Our Impact Partners

Elton John Impact Awards

Launched in 2026, the Elton John Impact Awards (EJIA) honors the legends and trailblazers whose lifelong work has inspired change and shaped culture, while also giving back to LGBTQ+ organizations that uplift the communities they serve.

This year’s legendary honorees are Jonathan Bailey, Laverne Cox, Melissa Etheridge, Billie Jean King, Orville Peck and Chappell Roan, all of whom have continuously used their platforms to uplift the LGBTQ+ community and create a more equal world for all.

The program will help drive visibility and funding for frontline organizations working to support the LGBTQ+ community. In partnership with Brandi Carlile’s Looking Out Foundation, we will deliver grants to support the critical work of CenterLink, GLAAD, Outright International, SAGE and The Trevor Project. P&G will also provide funding to the Elton John AIDS Foundation to support its efforts to expand access to lifesaving care to build a healthier future.

Elevating LGBTQ+ Stories and Voices

Through personal stories, conversation and one-to-one relationships, we can help to expose bias, create human connection and open hearts and minds. P&G authentically reflects LGBTQ+ voices and produces award-winning films amplifying LGBTQ+ stories.

The Words Matter

30 years ago, at the height of the AIDS epidemic, in one of the most conservative cities in America, our colleague Michael Chanak spoke out to make sure the LGBTQ+ community was being protected. ‘The Words Matter’ seeks to honor Michael for his gift to generations of P&G employees.

Out of the Shadows

’Out of the Shadows’ tells the story of a group of gay and lesbian employees at P&G’s Cincinnati headquarters who bravely joined forces to fight for equal rights in the workplace in the early 1990s.
