Employee Policies
Employee Rights Policy
Consistent with our purpose of providing branded products and services of superior quality and value that improve the lives of the world’s consumers, now and for generations to come, we are equally committed to improving the lives of our employees. P&G Brands and P&G People are the foundation of our success. P&G People bring our Values to life as we focus on improving consumers’ lives now and for generations to come.
At P&G, we strive to promote a work environment of confidence and trust. An important part of our commitment to our employees is our Employee Rights Policy which upholds our PVPs and respects International Labor Standards. Our employees hold themselves and one another accountable for operating with trust and integrity, for stepping up as leaders and owners of the business, and for competing honorably with a passion to win. P&G is committed to creating a work environment that fosters open communication and supports employees in reporting potential violations. Retaliation of any kind is inconsistent with our Values of Integrity and Trust and simply will not be tolerated.
Parental Leave Policy
We believe caring for home and family has no gender. That’s why we offer equal opportunity for all parents to share caregiving for new family members. Our #ShareTheCare global parental leave framework provides a minimum standard of eight weeks fully paid leave for all parents: biological parents, domestic partners, adoptive parents and parents in same sex couples—with an additional eight weeks physical recovery leave for birth mothers. Parents may take an unpaid child care leave of absence in addition to the paid leave up to the child’s first birthday or one year from the date of adoption. Learn more.
Flexible Work Policy
Flexibility is a spectrum and looks different for employees based on their locations and jobs. We embrace flexibility and the benefits it provides for the business and for employees in their personal lives. Flexibility is a critical element of delivering a superior employee value equation at P&G.
Employee Civic Engagement
At P&G, we aspire to build a better world for everyone who shares it. In the U.S., one way we’re supporting employees who wish to actively participate in their communities by offering an additional paid day off for civic engagement. Employees can use the time for a range of activities including volunteering, voting in local, state, and national elections, working the polls and more.
Recruiting
There are individuals who use P&G’s name and trademarks in emails and on websites in an attempt to solicit fees from interested job-seekers. Some examples of these fees are placement fees or immigration processing fees. P&G does not use recruiting or placement agencies that charge candidates an up-front fee of any kind.
Occasionally, P&G does employ recruiting or placement agencies to help us identify candidates for specific employment within P&G. If you’re contacted by a legitimate recruiting or placement agency, there should be no charge to you, the job-seeker.
