At P&G, we believe in continuous improvement – for ourselves and in our relationships with our external business partners (EBPs). Every two years, we conduct a formal evaluation process to assess the performance of a subset of over 60,000 EBPs, focused on excellence in commercial, operational, innovation and relationship performance metrics. This enables us to develop action plans to improve the collective performance of our supply network.
We also believe in celebrating a job well done. In December, we announced that 27 of the assessed EBPs were recognized with an Excellence Award. Today we are excited to announce the recipients of P&G's highest EBP recognition, the Partner of the Year Award.
This prestigious honor recognizes eight EBPs who have made the greatest impact to our business while exceeding expectations across innovation, quality, service and value. This year’s honorees are: Carat USA, DuPont Nutrition and Bioscience, Hi-P Electronics Ltd, PFNonwovens, Sandler A G, Superpac, Inc., Takenaka Corporation, and Yamada Electric Ind. Co., Ltd.
Our EBPs are integral members of our supply ecosystem, helping P&G delight our consumers. When they get better, we get better, and the consumer always benefits.
"At P&G, we recognize the significant value that our partners bring to every aspect of our business operations,” said David Taylor, P&G's CEO. “Resilient and trusted partnerships throughout our supply network enable us to serve our consumers better than anyone else and that creates value for all of us."
Virtual celebrations were held with each of the Partner of the Year Award winners and the P&G Leadership teams who work with them.
"I deeply value our EBPs and applaud their commitment to P&G," said Chief Purchasing Officer Ana Elena Marziano. "Outstanding suppliers, like these eight award recipients, make it possible for P&G to continue to delight consumers with our trusted brands and make progress on our journey to being a force for good and a force for growth. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!"
