In Brazil, P&Gers are stepping up to support communities through donations and aid – and also through interactive online engagement.
P&G Brazil is donating more than $5 million dollars in products, hygiene kits, and food baskets to vulnerable communities and front-line professionals.
In addition, P&G’s Always and Vicks brands are making financial donations to support research and innovation in the context of the Covid-19 crisis. Always is sponsoring researchers to better understand the virus, and Vicks is supporting the development of low-cost ventilators that work as an artificial lung and are essential for gauging tests in all respiratory and breathing devices development.
P&G Brazil is also serving consumers by offering a variety of content, platforms, and free workshops and courses. For example, Pampers offered moms ideas on how to play with babies at home during quarantine and an online baby shower platform; Oral-B Professional is offering lectures with experts to help dentists with coronavirus doubts; Downy is offering yoga and dance lessons, and Gillette deodorant created a platform to help gym teachers with online classes.
