Last week, innovation thought-leaders, disruptive founders and peer companies converged at P&G Cincinnati headquarters for the 8TH annual Signal Summit. This yearly event spotlights P&G innovation as well as showcases the most inspiring examples from leading companies and partners from around the world. This year’s theme explored how technology has redefined the possible relationship a company may have with its consumers, and explored best-in-class strategies toward building a consumer experience company.

Through the years, Signal P&G has explored innovation, starting with a focus on digital marketing eight years ago, and expanding to the entire value chain by 2017. Last year we challenged ourselves to “Lead Through Mass Disruption.” This year we invited industry leaders to consider powerful and creative ways to engage with our consumers at every touch point - from advertising, consideration, purchase, and the product experience itself – to achieve a more impactful and relevant consumer experience with our products and brands. This was also a noteworthy year – for the first time ever, we welcomed more women than men presenters to our stage.
We hit max capacity in our Cincinnati auditorium, where the Signal Summit 2019 took place, welcoming partners from around the city, employees, and thousands more via our global webcast. Nearby at Cintrifuse, a Cincinnati startup and entrepreneur community, 200 additional P&G employees and local founders and thought-leaders tuned into the summit via live streaming.

Returning for his 8th year as host, John Battelle, EIC, CEO of NewCo, Chairman of Sovrn Holdings, Co-Founder of Wired Magazine, and one of the industry’s foremost thought leaders on the intersection of digital and marketing, welcomed a roster of industry luminaries to the stage.
