Native American Network: Leading with Love through Truth and Reconciliation

Our Native American employees are connected through our Native American Network (NAN), bringing together people from diverse cultures to positively impact our company and our communities.

On September 30th, Native American Network members from across the United States helped to bring Truth and Reconciliation Day to life at each of their respective sites. Members wore their Orange “Every Child Matters” shirts, supplied educational materials, gave live presentations and answered questions for understanding from fellow employees. By providing visibility to this important day, NAN was able to help our organization honor the lost children and survivors of residential schools, their families and their communities.

Our NAN group Leads with Love through reconciliation. We’ll continue our work to improve Indigenous communities through our partnerships and sustained action, by building awareness of Native history and in our aspirations to create a company and a world where equality and inclusion is achievable for all.

As we continue through Native American Heritage Month, we celebrate the rich traditions and histories of our Native American employees by highlighting the work they are doing to improve life for tribal citizens. The NAN plans to share our culture during November through a variety of events which will include a tipi raising, Native art throughout our sites, indigenous-inspired food across our cafeterias, the premier of the documentary “A Long Line of Ladies”, kicking off a TikTok campaign featuring Native American creators and influencers, as well as a variety of smaller P&G location-centered activities.
